This exercise is part of week 4 of our study of creativity and yoga. I’ve simplified the language of the practice here for home use, but in class we’d go into further detail as a guided meditation. This practice comes to us from the book Feeding Your Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Resolving Inner Conflict. It describes a meditation practice recorded by Buddhists in the eleventh-century by the name of “Chod,” which means “to cut through.”
