Abdominal breathing is explained very well in this book, with good ways to visualize deep breaths.

Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff, Amy Matthews, & Sharon Ellis

There’s a chapter that gives you a detailed description on how to breathe deeply and what each part of the body involved is doing during the process. Very cool.
