Receptive Meditation: Audio Anchoring

Being observant is a good skill.  In yoga, it can serve to help us realize when we are straining a part of the body too far or when our thoughts are becoming distorted.  In creative work, we can better recreate our world the better we become attuned to the senses of being in it.

This is a variation on what Jack Kornfield would call “the river of sound” as a subject of mediation and Gil Frosdal’s introduction to meditation.
