This book is an easy-to-read discussion of the way the brain evolved and the way the science of its discovery progressed. It’s not the most recent book, but great for the basics. And it includes lots of diagrams – and funny illustrations. It’s very helpful for understanding the brain and the mind of the human! Robert Ornstein wrote over 20 books about the brain.
